Bloomingdale Public Library is committed to collecting and preserving items of historical interest concerning the Village of Bloomingdale and the surrounding area. The Bloomingdale Heritage Collections were created to improve access to materials that may be helpful to people within our community and also interested parties outside our geographical borders, including students, genealogists, historians, and those with an interest in the history of the Bloomingdale area. Creating this collection contributes to our mission to provide informational, educational, and cultural materials in a variety of formats and technologies, and provide useful and timely access to our resources.
